Bridging The Gap

Complete this form to register for 1:1 training on your firearm. This training event will be held prior to 2027 hunting season at the Erie County Conservation Society in Chaffee. Through hands-on instruction with their own firearm, participants can improve confidence, strengthen marksmanship, and reduce the risk of firearm-related injuries.

Anyone signing up for 1:1 training on their firearm must meet these requirements:

1. Participants age must be 12 year or older.
2. Participant must complete NYS Hunter Training class PRIOR to the scheduled event. (proof required at the training).
3. Participants must bring their firearm and ammunition to the training.
4. The firearm must be legal for hunting in NYS.
* All firearms must be locked during transport. Ammunition cannot be stored with the gun (in the same case). The firearm must be legal for hunting in NYS. Please verify your firearm is in good working order and that the ammunition you bring is the correct ammunition for your firearm.
