Event Participants

A total of 96 participants attended this event – including 89 kids.  UV rated sunglasses were provided free of charge. Prizes were awarded to all youths.

Special recognition to Prince Hardy, catching the largest fish – a 14.5″black bass.  Ailiyah Hardy caught the most fish (5) and Able McGinnis had the largest non-bass fish, an 8″ pumpkinseed.

Learning Opportunities

Each participant attended learning stations for casting, plastic baits, knot tying, fish identification, and where to fish in WNY.

Once a learning station was completed, a card was punched to acknowledge participation. Attendees are required to visit all 5 learning stations before fishing.  Punch cards are turned in after all stations are visited.
